Théâtre Roulant is passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity. We encourage qualified applicants who are diverse in age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, ethnicity and perspective to apply.
Please note that each performer cast in the company may perform in more than one role for the following productions:
Death in a Black Suit by Maureen Jennings - A troupe of actors are stuck on an island in Duck Bay, Prince Edward County by a freak storm. They are there to rehearse a Detective Murdoch play, but when a murder occurs, the perpetrator must be one of them. But who? They begin to investigate, but as it turns out, each of them has a reason to wish the victim dead.
Small Town by Megan Hutton - A satirical character driven dramedy. In the small town of Monroe, tradition collides with change when Kyle’s bold manifesto is leaked, Kate puts the town’s only newspaper up for sale, and the meddling Pastor’s wife, Cecilia, fans town wide panic. The slightly out of touch Mayor, Lyle, resists and tries to cling to the old ways, but events have been set in motion that will forever change the small town of Monroe. Funny, bittersweet, and full of heart, Small Town asks who gets to decide a community’s future? Tradition or the residents?
The Undoing of Billy Slim by Conrad Beaubien - Billy Slim has died and his memorial service is the location of grief being expressed, marking life changes, and asking big questions while looking toward the future.
